Nunamiut is a for-profit Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) village corporation established in 1973 with 254 original shareholders. Anaktuvuk Pass is in the Brooks Range inside the Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve and is located 250 miles northwest of Fairbanks.
