Anaktuvuk Pass, Alaska – Nunamiut Corporation would like to extend our sincere
condolences to the family of Della Tagarook.
Della, our beloved Nunamiut Director and lifelong resident of Anaktuvuk Pass, was a
very loyal and welcoming person. She had a big outgoing personality with a great
sense of humor. Her heart was for the shareholders, people, and community of
Anaktuvuk Pass. She served her community for many years, working for the North
Slope Borough, Nunamiut Corporation, and the Simon Paneak Memorial Museum.
Della leaves behind her husband Billy Ben Tagarook, children Marcus Sikvayugak,
Diane Adams, and Brandon Tagarook, and many grandchildren, brothers and sisters,
and extended family.
Della will be dearly missed and our prayers for peace and comfort go out to the family
and community. May she rest in peace.
